The City of Martensdale Independent School District's commitment is to INSPIRE, CHALLENGE and GROW.

In 1920, four country schools were combined into Martensdale Consolidated Schools, and in 1958 were further combined into Martensdale-St. Marys, Home of the Blue Devils.
